Intensified Construction of Lianxu High-speed Railway Project

On March 10, 2019, the construction site of Lianyungang section of the Lianyungang-Xuzhou high-speed railway is being intensified. Up to now, more than 70% of the pile-based bridges under Lianyungang section of Lianyungang-Xuzhou high-speed railway have been completed, 82 holes of beams have been erected, and it is expected to be opened to traffic by the end of 2020. With a total length of 180 kilometers and a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour, the Lianxu High-speed Railway is an important part of the national long-term railway network planning "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway which serves as the main channel of the horizontal "land bridge channel".
